When is World Compliment Day in 2026?
March 1, 2026 is International Compliment Day in the Workplace, and it is appreciated!
This day focuses on the “basic human need for recognition and appreciation”. On this day, you make someone’s day by praising them.
Fun Compliment Day Activities at Work
Colleague of the day
Every day someone becomes “colleague of the day”. On this day that person is showered with compliments from the team. Make sure that everyone is “colleague of the day” at some point.
Compliment cards
Each colleague must write down three compliments on a card and pass them on to another colleague. The goal is for everyone to receive and give a compliment on compliment day.
EXTRA: replace the cards with a display with cookies.
Compliment Bingo
Make a bingo card with 6 to 12 compliments on it and place it on your colleagues' desks.
Throughout the day, colleagues can cross out compliments they have already used. The goal is to be the first to shout “bingo”.
EXTRA: Whoever shouts “bingo” first wins a box full of complicookies.
